กล้องวงจรปิดราคาถูก ขายทั่วไทย

CCTV Cameras are among the best devices that were created in order to prevent criminal and intruder break-ins today. However, there are certain things that you should consider when installing them at home. One of the things that you should keep in mind is the law. There are some countries that do not allow CCTV camera installation especially if the intention is to keep an eye on your neighbor. But then, not all countries are like this. In some countries, CCTV security cameras are allowed to be installed as long as the owner posts a sign informing the people within the area that a camera is watching them.

FUNCTION

In the United States of America, there is no law that requires signs to be posted that give notice of a hidden CCTV surveillance camera, especially if the surveillance takes place in a public setting where the citizens are not expecting privacy. Home owners are also not required to post signs when using nanny cams.

FEATURES

Federal laws prohibit the use of hidden CCTV Cameras in places where the citizens have a reasonable expectation of privacy, especially in bathrooms, hotel rooms, locker rooms, and in changing rooms. But in work places where employment contracts include a clause that require employees' consent to surveillance, an agreement is reinforced that a sign be posted to warn the employees about the CCTV camera systems.

EFFECTS

Posting a sign that warns of video surveillance could be an effective deterrent to crimes. In fact, when someone reads the sign, he will be more conscious and try to be at his best. He is somehow prevented to do something illegal like stealing others' stuff. Because of this, many people have started posting signs even if they only had fake or nonfunctional CCTV Cameras. Some even post signs even if they have no cameras installed at all.

CONSIDERATIONS

Posting a sign that informs visitor or employees about the video surveillance doesn't only provide a measure for protection against crime. It also allows the home or business owners who install the cameras to argue that anyone caught on camera was warned in advance.

If you have a CCTV camera system installed at home, you should consider if you should post a sign or not. Posting a sign is tantamount to warning them that they are being monitored by hidden CCTV Cameras so there's no reason for them to argue with you if they are caught on camera. But if the law doesn't require it, you can choose not to. Besides, it'll only be a waste of time.
